I don't get how spring break can be this bad when it's only tuesday.
Sunday I woke up to a text message around 6 A.M. to a co-worker named Stephanie canceling our plans because she wasn't feeling well and, oh yeah, she not coming to work either. For any of those rare and selected few people who HAVENT heard me rant about how bad, lazy, stupid, and annoying most of the weekend crew is, just know that I turned my phone off as soon as read the message before the manager could ask me to come in early. Work sucked of course, but it was such a nice day that when I got home I just wanted to go out and DO something. I called up a whole bunch of people, and no one was available.
So I went to draw or illustrate something. I've been in a bit of a rut for about two weeks. It's one of those stupid artist things that no matter what I do, I think it automatically sucks and I want to rip apart and burn it while preforming exorcism chants (which really pisses me off). I decided to just start on something and post it up whether I liked or not, just to get out of the artist's block. So I got the base colors and gradients down for an old drawing that night. THE COMPUTER RESTARTED 3 TIMES while I was sleeping. It woke me up, it deleted my work, and now there's something wrong with my computer. I tried to re-do most of the lost work monday morning, but it would automatically restart randomly and I ended up losing it 2 more times.
I went through most of the day trying to figure out whether my computer issues were 'user error' (and therefore easily fixed), or if I would have to bring it in to the genius store. Turns out, not only do I have to bring it in, but the customer complaints mainly state that it worked for about a day before going back to the same problem. I got a nice call from Lea though. She invited me on a bike ride, but I was in such a bad mood for the rest of the day that I never called her back.
Besides that, there's no food in the house. Scratch that, no EDIBLE vegetarian food. Which is odd, because the fridge is completely packed. There are some hot dogs and some left-over pot roast, along with some other stuff that either have been in the fridge for an undistinguished amount of time or are for mom's lunches. I cleaned out some of the stuff that I thought were giving out radiation, so that will give me some room for me to go shopping later. I want to try out some recipes anyway.
